I'm Lisa Kiara Judge, a product designer originally from Caracas. I studied graphic design in Venezuela. From there my career kind of took a life of it's own.
My first real job as a designer was at a small family business in Brisbane, Australia. The business sold swimming caps and goggles. My job was designing the pattern on the swimming caps. I was so excited to finally work as a designer I didn't care what I was designing. To this day I have the same enthusiasm about design.
A few years in I discovered UX and my love for design grew into something bigger. From that point it wasn't just about how things look, but how they work, why they exist and whether they actually help anyone.
I spent time at a New Zealand agency in Sydney before making the move to New York. I've been at Current for the past four years with two of them leading design for payments.
Outside of work I'm a mum to little two kids who keep me very busy. I'm also someone who likes to have fun and make things.
